Greenback is 6-1 against Rockwood since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Greenback Cherokees will head out to challenge the Rockwood Tigers at 6:30 p.m. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 11 consecutive losses dating back to last season for Greenback and five for Rockwood.

Last Tuesday, Greenback had to suffer through a 50-16 loss at the hands of Sweetwater.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Rockwood duked it out withSale Creek on Tuesday. Rockwood received a blow as they fell 43-27 to Sale Creek. The matchup marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Rockwood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Greenback, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Greenback came up short against Rockwood in their previous matchup back in January, falling 28-23. Can Greenback avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
