Volleyball Recap: Polytechnic Parrots vs. Paschal Panthers
Polytechnic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Paschal Panthers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Parrots have suffered since August 12th.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-6, 25-5.
Paschal was led to victory by Ava Dyer and Ellie Raymond. Dyer had 14 digs and three aces, while Raymond had 15 assists and six aces. Dyer has been hot for a while, having posted 14 or more digs the last 11 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Delaney Chase, who had six digs and three aces.
Polytechnic's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Paschal, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-15.
Coincidentally, Polytechnic and Paschal will both be playing South Hills the next time they take the court. The Panthers will host the Scorpions at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Parrots will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
