They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Harrells Christian Academy Crusaders 47-9. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Falcons as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Epiphany to victory, but perhaps none more so than Anna Ponton, who posted 21 points. The Falcons are 2-1 when Ponton posts 15 or more points, but 0-6 otherwise. Delana Norris was another key player, putting up 13 points.
When it comes to explaining why Harrells Christian Academy lost, don't look at Riley Dixon. Despite the final result, she scored five points and nine boards. Landry Singletary also deserves some recognition as she posted her first blocks of the season.
