Basketball Recap: Kirbyville Comes Up Short

Kirbyville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 43-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warren Warriors. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-32 on January 3rd.

Kirbyville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Warren, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 18-13 record this season.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Kirbyville Wildcats take on the Kountze Lions at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Warren, they will host Anahuac at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
