Basketball Recap: Dover Triumphs

Dover hadn't done well against Nashua North recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Dover Green Wave had just enough and edged the Nashua North Titans out 59-56. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Green Wave have posted against the Titans since January 19, 2018.

The win made it two in a row for Dover and bumps their season record up to 2-1. As for Nashua North, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

After both having extra time off, Dover and Trinity will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 6:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Trinity will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Dover surely won't give up without a fight. As for Nashua North, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bishop Guertin at 6:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
