Volleyball Recap: Forge Christian Comes Up Short on the Road Against Lyons

Forge Christian kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lyons Lions. The Fury were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-21, 19-25, 25-18.

Forge Christian's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Bella Tiner, who had seven digs and three aces, and Addison Davis, who had 12 digs, eight kills, and three aces. Davis has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

Coming up, Forge Christian will square off against DSST: Conservatory Green at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lyons, they will face off against Loveland Classical at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
