Hackett had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Tuckerman Bulldogs by a score of 7-2 on Saturday. The victory was nothing new for the Hornets as they're now sitting on nine straight.

Hackett's win bumped their record up to 22-3. As for Tuckerman, they moved to 24-5 with that loss, which also ended their 15-game winning streak.

Coming up, Hackett will square off against Riverside at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Hornets 2.4, the Rebels 2.7) so any runs scored will be well earned. Tuckerman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
