Football Game Preview: Glide Wildcats vs. Myrtle Point Bobcats + How To Watch

Glide is a perfect 3-0 against Myrtle Point since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Wildcats will face off against the Bobcats at 7:00 p.m.

Glide's last matchup with Bandon could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Friday. The Wildcats lost 50-26 to the Tigers. The game marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Despite the loss, Glide saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Collin Groth picked up 94 receiving yards and one score, and also threw for 36 yards and one TD.

Meanwhile, Myrtle Point entered their tilt with Gold Beach on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They enjoyed a cozy 22-6 victory over the Panthers.

Glide's defeat dropped their record down to 4-1. As for Myrtle Point, their win bumped their record up to an identical 4-1.

Everything came up roses for Glide against Myrtle Point when the teams last played back in September of 2017, as the squad secured a 55-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
