Volleyball Game Preview: Roseville Tigers vs. Pioneer Patriots + How To Watch

The Roseville Tigers will take on the Pioneer Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Roseville is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Sierra. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Roseville had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-11, 27-25, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Pioneer made easy work of Ponderosa on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

While Pioneer won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-22, 25-20.

Pioneer's win bumped their record up to 23-10. As for Roseville, their victory bumped their record up to 21-11.

Roseville beat Pioneer 2-0 in their previous matchup back in September of 2021. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
