Softball Game Preview: North Caddo Titans vs. Southwood Cowboys

North Caddo is 0-7 against Southwood since March of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Titans will be playing at home against the Cowboys at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

North Caddo is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Thursday. They came up short against Northwood, falling 18-3.

North Caddo saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isabel Dial, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI. Janiyah McCauley also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 21 runs the game before, Southwood was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They lost 25-1 to Loyola College Prep. The Cowboys' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

North Caddo's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Southwood, their loss dropped their record down to 1-14.

North Caddo might still be hurting after the 18-2 defeat they got from Southwood when the teams last played back in April of 2019. Can the Titans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
