Somerset Berkley Regional took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Tiverton Tigers with a sharp 6-0 win. The Raiders not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since May 13, 2024.

Somerset Berkley Regional's victory was truly a team effort as eight different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Luke Thornton, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one RBI. Hayden Teasdale was another, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Somerset Berkley Regional will take on Attleboro at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Tiverton, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Classical at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
