The home team had won the previous five meetings between Shelton and Centralia, and Centralia kept the tradition alive. The Highclimbers fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 13-12 on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Highclimbers in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.

Shelton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Centralia, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-2-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shelton will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Tumwater at 4:30 p.m. on the 14th. As for Centralia, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Centralia Tigers take on WF West Bearcats at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
