Football Recap: Carmel Falls Short of St. Charles North in the Playoffs + How To Watch

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Carmel couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the St. Charles North North Stars by a score of 26-23 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Corsairs have suffered since October 11, 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Carmel lost, don't look at Trae Taylor. Despite the final result, he rushed for 128 yards and one score on only 11 carries, and also threw for 196 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes. Jorden Moore helped out on the ground, rushing for 114 yards.
