Basketball Recap: Temple Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Telstar last Saturday, Temple Academy came back down to earth. The Temple Academy Bereans were dealt a 55-25 defeat at the hands of the Forest Hills Tigers on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Bereans in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Temple Academy now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Forest Hills, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Temple Academy and Islesboro Central will round out the year against one another at at 10:30 a.m. on December 27th. Forest Hills will take on Telstar in a holiday battle at at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
