Basketball Recap: Van Comes Up Short

Van was the 51-39 winner over Whitehouse when they last played one another back in December of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Vandals took a blow against the Wildcats on Saturday, falling 82-29. The Vandals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Van's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Whitehouse, the win keeps them at an undefeated 14-0.

Van will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bullard at 6:15 p.m. on December 9. As for Whitehouse, they will square off against Marshall at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Wildcats their first taste of in-conference action this season.
