Rosamond took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Desert Christian Knights by a score of 3-1. This was payback for the Roadrunners, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Rosamond had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-17, 25-23, 26-24.

Their offense was headlined by Logan Castro and Katie Jorgensen, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Kenia Sotelo Salgado and her 13 assists. Priscilla Ponce controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Rosamond didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Arvin on the 14th. As for Desert Christian, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Immanuel Christian on the 14th.
