Basketball Game Preview: Meadowcreek Mustangs vs. Berkmar Patriots

Meadowcreek hasn't had much luck against Berkmar recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Both will face off at 7:00 p.m. without much rest having both just played. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Monday, Meadowcreek ended up a good deal behind Ramsay and lost 52-36. The matchup marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Berkmar had to suffer through a 72-42 loss at the hands of Hazel Green. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 187th in Georgia, while the Trojans are ranked 36th in Alabama).

Meadowcreek's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-6. As for Berkmar, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.

Meadowcreek strolled past Berkmar in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 by a score of 76-61. Does Meadowcreek have another victory up their sleeve, or will Berkmar turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
