Softball Recap: L.C. Bird Comes Up Short

L.C. Bird lost against Colonial Heights on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Skyhawks came up short against the Colonials, falling 23-1. The Skyhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

L.C. Bird's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Colonial Heights, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-3.

Coming up, L.C. Bird is taking a road trip to face off against Clover Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Skyhawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cavaliers have averaged an impressive 10 runs per game this season. As for Colonial Heights, they will challenge Thomas Dale at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Colonials are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
