Soccer Recap: Texas Comes Up Short

While it was Texas who put the first goals on the board on Thursday, it was Mt. Pleasant who put up more. Texas fell 4-2 to Mt. Pleasant. Texas hasn't had much luck with Mt. Pleasant recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Texas now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Mt. Pleasant, they pushed their record up to 6-3-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coincidentally, Texas and Mt. Pleasant will both be playing Marshall the next time they take the pitch. Texas will head out to face Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Mt. Pleasant will host them at 7:00 p.m. on the 30th.
