Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rich). They claimed a resounding 71-40 victory over the St. Joseph Jayhawks. The Rebels not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since November 16, 2024 (when they won 50-14).
Wilkes Weston went supernova, rushing for 102 yards and one touchdown, while also catching one score. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 67 yards. Jett Holmes was another key passer, throwing for 109 yards and three TDs on only ten passes.
Rich's run defense was locked in: St. Joseph could only muster 0.7 yards per carry. While six picked up at least two total tackles, Weston stood above the rest. He rushed for 102 yards and one score, and also caught one touchdown. Rich didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 16.7.
