Basketball Game Preview: New Albany Bulldogs vs. Jeffersonville Red Devils

The New Albany Bulldogs are taking a road trip to challenge the Jeffersonville Red Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with New Albany sitting on five straight victories and Jeffersonville on six.

On Saturday, New Albany strolled past Columbus East with points to spare, taking the game 65-50. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked sixth, while the Olympians are ranked 82nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Jeffersonville didn't have too much trouble with Mishawaka Marian on Saturday as they won 63-46.

New Albany's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-2. As for Jeffersonville, their victory bumped their record up to 12-5.

Things could have been worse for New Albany, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 75-58 loss to Jeffersonville in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Can New Albany avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
