Highland had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Cottonwood on Tuesday. The Rams put the hurt on the Colts with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Rams not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 9th (when they won 3-0).

While Highland might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Cottonwood scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-18, 25-23.

Highland is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Cottonwood, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-21.

Highland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Park City on the 16th. Cottonwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
