The Eastern Hancock Royals will challenge the Indianapolis Lutheran Saints at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Eastern Hancock is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.7 runs per game this season.
Eastern Hancock is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top against Irvington Preparatory Academy by a score of 6-1. The Royals haven't had any issues with Irvington Preparatory Academy recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
Maverick Burke looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in May of 2025.

At the plate, Conner Wittgren was excellent, going 3-for-4 with four RBI and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high.
Meanwhile, Indianapolis Lutheran hadn't done well against Triton Central recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Saints skirted past the Tigers 4-3.
Indianapolis Lutheran also got a great performance from Kolson Conner as he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. Conner has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Hudson Mills, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Jackson Baskett, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.
Eastern Hancock's record now sits at 15-8. As for Indianapolis Lutheran, their record is now 11-12-1.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Saturday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Eastern Hancock has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.4 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Indianapolis Lutheran struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 7.9 strikeouts.
