Baseball Recap: Berlin Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Berlin's offense. They came up short against the Belmont Red Raiders on Monday, falling 23-0. The Mountaineers have struggled against the Red Raiders recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Berlin's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Belmont, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Coincidentally, Berlin and Belmont will both be playing Gilford the next time they take the field. The Red Raiders will host the Golden Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Mountaineers will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
