Softball Recap: Craig County Takes a Loss

After flying high against Bland County two weeks ago, Craig County came back down to earth. The Rockets came up short against the Eastern Montgomery Mustangs on Tuesday, falling 21-7. The defeat continues a trend for the Rockets in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost five in a row.

Craig County now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Eastern Montgomery, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Coincidentally, Craig County and Eastern Montgomery will both be playing Bath County the next time they take the field. The Mustangs will head out to face the Chargers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Rockets will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
