Baseball Recap: Copper Hills Comes Up Short

Copper Hills was the 5-2 winner over Herriman when they last played one another on Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Grizzlies took a 12-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs on Friday.

Ali Carrillo Jr and Myles Perry did some serious damage despite the final result: Carrillo Jr went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI, while Perry went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Reese Dubach, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Copper Hills' loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Herriman, they moved to 4-11 with that win, which also ended their nine-game losing streak.
