Baseball Recap: Conway Takes a Loss

Conway was the 8-5 winner over Socastee when they last played one another on April 11th, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell just short of the Braves by a score of 4-3 on Monday.

Conway got a good showing from Doc Mishoe, who tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Those zero hits allowed gave Mishoe a new career-low.

On the hitting side, Will Neff made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Conway's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Socastee, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-18.

Coming up, Conway will take on Georgetown at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Socastee, they have already played their next match, a 7-6 win against Waccamaw on the 29th.
