Volleyball Recap: Jackson Takes a Loss

Jackson was the 2-1 winner over Jonesville when they last played one another last Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Vikings took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Comets on Saturday. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Jackson was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Jonesville work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-7.

Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Jonesville, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-16-2.

Coming up, Jackson is taking a road trip to challenge Western at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jonesville, they will take on Homer in a tournament on Saturday.
