Recap: Southern Wells Raiders vs. Eastbrook Panthers
The Southern Wells Raiders lost against the Eastbrook Panthers back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Southern Wells fell just short of Eastbrook by a score of 49-46. Southern Wells has not had much luck with Eastbrook recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Several Raiders players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Evan Pennington, who scored 13 points along with 6 assists. Another player making a difference was Chandler Oswalt, who scored 15 points along with 5 rebounds.
Southern Wells' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Eastbrook, their win bumped their record up to 1-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southern Wells will stay at home for another game and welcome Northfield at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th. Eastbrook will take on Frankton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
