Volleyball Recap: Danny Del Pino Key Part of Team Effort in Wolverines Win

After losing to True North Classical Academy the last time they met, Belen Jesuit decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Belen Jesuit walked away with a 2-0 victory over True North Classical Academy on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolverines.

Belen Jesuit's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Danny Del Pino led the charge by getting 14 digs. Those 14 digs gave Del Pino a new career-high. William Essig also deserves some recognition as he had his first block of the season.

Belen Jesuit's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for True North Classical Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-7 record this season.
