Baseball Recap: Glendale Comes Up Short

Glendale came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 12-4 to the West Branch Warriors. The Vikings were not able to make up for their loss to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.

Glendale saw ten different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Levi Hamilton, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double. John Taylor also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Glendale has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season. As for West Branch, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Coincidentally, Glendale and West Branch will both be playing Harmony Area the next time they take the field. The Vikings will head out to face the Owls at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Warriors will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
