Soccer Recap: Lamar County Triumphs

Lamar County kept a clean sheet against First Presbyterian Day on Thursday. They skirted past the Vikings 1-0. Garrison Selph had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Lamar County.

The win made it two in a row for Lamar County and bumps their season record up to 9-6. As for First Presbyterian Day, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5-1.

Lamar County wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 2-2 defeat against Upson-Lee on the 10th. As for First Presbyterian Day, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bulloch Academy at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th.
