Baseball Recap: Oxford Wolverines vs. North Branford Thunderbirds
Oxford lost against North Branford on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wolverines might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 6-1 to the Thunderbirds, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Oxford saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole O'Connell, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.
Oxford now has a losing record of 11-12. As for North Branford, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 23-4.
