Basketball Recap: Cocoa Beach Skates Past Space Coast with Ease

Cocoa Beach posted their biggest win since December 28, 2023 on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Space Coast Vipers 57-22. The Minutemen pushed the score to 47-14 by the end of the third, a deficit the Vipers had no chance of recovering from.

It was another big night for Lukas Stevens, who went 6 of 10 on his way to 15 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Louis, who posted ten points.

Cocoa Beach's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-6. As for Space Coast, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

Cocoa Beach will head out to square off against Heritage at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Cocoa Beach is facing Heritage at the right time seeing as Heritage is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Space Coast, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 38-28 win against Pineapple Cove Classical Academy on the 9th.
