Volleyball Recap: Hammond Academy of Science & Tech Comes Up Short

Hammond Academy of Science & Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the River Forest Ingots. The Hawks were not able to make up for their loss to the Ingots from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-15, 17-25, 25-16.

Hammond Academy of Science & Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for River Forest, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.

Looking ahead, Hammond Academy of Science & Tech will head out to challenge East Chicago Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. River Forest has already played their next matchup (against Lighthouse College Prep Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
