Basketball Recap: Newmarket Piles Up the Points Against Mascenic Regional

Newmarket put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their game with ease, bagging a 44-16 victory over the Mascenic Regional Vikings. The Mules have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vikings, too.

Newmarket's win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. As for Mascenic Regional, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Newmarket will be home for the holidays to greet Wilton-Lyndeborough at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mascenic Regional, they will host Farmington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
