Central Sierra (8 Man) recap Oct. 23, 2012

Northwest Christian extended the longest winning streak in Central Sierra (8 Man) this week by beating Alpaugh, 45-13. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.

Kings Christian took down Faith Christian 68-34 last week, the largest margin of any game.

The Warriors' Joshsua Johansson and Mark Harvey have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Johansson has thrown for 1037 yards this season, while Harvey has 24 catches for 513 yards. Northwest Christian's Michael Pope leads the league in rushing yards with 1391.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Crusaders take on the Buffaloes. Kings Christian is in second place, while Alpaugh is in fifth place.

Cameron Brooks' team led Central Sierra (8 Man) in scoring this week after putting up 68 points on Faith Christian.
