Baseball Recap: Crest Ridge Takes a Loss

Crest Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 17-7 to the Wellington-Napoleon Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 last Thursday.

Crest Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Wellington-Napoleon, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Crest Ridge will square off against Leeton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Wellington-Napoleon, they will take on Plaza Heights Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
