Baseball Recap: Green Takes a Loss

Green has relied on a stalwart pitcher averaging 3.33 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They came up short against the Fairview Eagles, falling 12-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bobcats have suffered since May 16, 2024.

Gabe Blevins was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Green's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Fairview, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Green will square off against East at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fairview, they will take on Lewis County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
