Volleyball Recap: Hurricane Tigers vs. Desert Hills Thunder        
        
		
             On Tuesday, Hurricane faced Desert Hills in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Hurricane Tigers fell just short of the Desert Hills Thunder by a score of  3-2. The  defeat   continues a  trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Thunder: they've now lost three in a row.
 Hurricane started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-28, 23-25, 25-23, 25-16,  15-12.
 Despite the  loss, Hurricane had strong showings from  Hallee Wardle, who  had ten  digs and three  aces, and  Teuila Alualu, who  had nine  digs. What's more,  Alualu also racked up  no  blocks, the mostshe's  had  in  her last three  matches.
 Hurricane's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Desert Hills, they pushed their record up to 11-4 with the  win, which was their sixth straight  at home.
 Hurricane will welcome Cedar  at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Cedar will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something Hurricane surely won't give up without a fight. As for Desert Hills, they will play host again  on Thursday to welcome Dixie, where the match is scheduled  at 7:00  p.m. Desert Hills is facing Dixie at the right time seeing as Dixie is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak.
