Volleyball Recap: Clark/Willow Lake's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Clark/Willow Lake hadn't done well against Sioux Valley recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Cyclones sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Cossacks. Winning may never get old, but the Cyclones sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Clark/Willow Lake was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-21, 19-25, 25-19, 16-14.

Clark/Willow Lake's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Sioux Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clark/Willow Lake will take on Milbank at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sioux Valley, they will challenge Parker at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
