King William had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They strolled past the Amelia County Raiders with points to spare, taking the game 21-7. For the Cavaliers, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 victory the Raiders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2021.

Looking ahead, King William will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Westmoreland at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. As for Amelia County, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Franklin at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
