Basketball Recap: Southeast Takes a Loss

Southeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 41-35 heartbreaker at the hands of the Palmetto Tigers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Seminoles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-33 back in December of 2024.

Southeast's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Palmetto, they moved to 5-8 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Southeast is taking a road trip to take on Parrish Community at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Palmetto, they will be playing at home against Manatee at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
