Volleyball Recap: Chico Comes Up Short

Chico entered their game against Oroville on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 25-6.

Chico's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Oroville, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-2.

Coming up, Chico will take on Lindhurst at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oroville, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Redding Christian at 5:30 p.m. on the 28th.
