Baseball Recap: Christian Community Takes a Loss

Christian Community came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the White House Blue Devils, falling 12-4. The loss continues a trend for the Colts in their meetings with the Blue Devils: they've now lost five in a row.

Christian Community's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for White House, their win bumped their record up to 8-11.

Coming up, Christian Community will be playing in front of their home fans against Jo Byrns at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Red Devils have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.63 runs per game on average), something the Colts will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for White House, they have already played their next matchup, a 9-3 loss against White House-Heritage on the 12th.
