Baseball Game Preview: Hall Titans vs. Simsbury Trojans

The Hall Titans will head out on the road to challenge the Simsbury Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games Hall has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Thursday, Hall didn't have quite enough to beat Avon and fell 4-3.

Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Simsbury's offense. They fell 4-0 to Northwest Catholic on Saturday. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Trojans were not able to get on the board.

Hall's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-4. As for Simsbury, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-6.

Hall took their victory against Simsbury in their previous meeting back in April by a conclusive 12-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
