Volleyball Game Preview: Georgetown Royals vs. Lynnfield Pioneers

Georgetown hasn't had much luck against Lynnfield recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Royals will take on the Pioneers at 5:00 p.m.

Georgetown came up short against Triton Regional on Monday, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, Lynnfield entered their tilt with North Reading on Monday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They put the hurt on the Hornets with a sharp 3-0 win.

While Lynnfield won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-10, 25-18.

Georgetown's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Lynnfield, their victory bumped their record up to 16-2.

Georgetown might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Lynnfield in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Royals avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
