Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lane Tech walked away with it. They came out on top against the Evanston Wildkits by a score of 9-5 on Tuesday. The Champions haven't had any issues with the Wildkits recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Lane Tech got a big performance out of Grace Brobson, who went 3-for-4 with three runs and one stolen base. Hannah Roeder was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Lane Tech was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .467. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Evanston only posted a batting average of .300.

Lane Tech's victory bumped their record up to 20-12. As for Evanston, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-19.

As of now, neither Lane Tech nor the Wildkits have any future games scheduled.
