Recap: Capital Jaguars vs. Santa Fe Demons
It was a good run, but the Capital Jaguars unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 34-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of Santa Fe. Capital was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Santa Fe apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played last Tuesday.
Several Jaguars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Annica Montoya, who scored two points along with six rebounds and six steals. Another player making a difference was Madelaine Portillo, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Capital's loss dropped their record down to 6-21. As for Santa Fe, their victory bumped their record up to 9-18.
Capital does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Santa Fe also has no future games currently scheduled.
