Koa Regalado had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 388 yards and five touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushing for 177 yards and a pair of scores. Those 388 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Colton's leading receiver Kalvin Leon was Regalado's top target yet again, picking up 220 receiving yards and two TDs.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Colton was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 210 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 14 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Jonathan Quiroz, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
Meanwhile, San Gorgonio was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 28-21 to Kaiser.
San Gorgonio's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Colton, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-5.
Colton was taken down by San Gorgonio 55-28 in their previous meeting back in October of 2023. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Yellowjackets were down 35-14.
